| | "Buddy Holly" cover by Ben Folds Five | ] | So tonight was my final shift at Coldstone. I'll miss some of it, but wont miss a lot of it.
I was there for over 2 years, so it was definately wierd to leave. I had an awesome shift though. I worked with Karina, Channing, Kaity D, and Keisy. We all did a great job tonight, and I actually really enjoyed the shift.
I'm so happy I met Karina, she's such a cool person. As is Channing.
I've met so many people through Coldstone. I wouldn't have many of the friends I do now if I never worked there.
I'll definately miss some of the kids from there. 2.0 made me so sad when she left because she looked so sad. Some of the kids are so cool that are there. Others aren't, but we wont talk about them, lol.
Well, I work at 6 AM at Cozzi tomorrow, so I should sleep.

| Another Commedia Show! |
[Jul. 19th, 2005|12:30 am] |
Hey Everyone!
I want to let you all know about a new Commedia Dell'Arte Troupe here in Kennesaw. We are called I Commedianti Piccoli and will be performing July 1st at Cozzi Cafe.
What is Commedia Dell’Arte? Fun for all ages, Commedia is a form of theatre that dates back to the Italian Renaissance. The actors have stock characters and a set of a few comic routines. They enter the show knowing only the basic structure of what the scenario is. The rest of the show is made up right in front of the audience! Come and join us for an evening of classic slapstick comedy, sword fighting, and crazy characters you that will remember for a time to come.
Our second and final show of the summer is July 22nd at 6 PM at Cozzi Cafe.
For directions go to www.cozzicafe.com.
Hope to see you all there!

Hey guys!
Well, didn't do much today.
Justin and I wrote a good portion of the scenario. We're gonna finish it tomorrow.
I'm getting fillings tomorrow. I'm scared! I've never gotten fillings before! But my dentist is cool. So it'll be fine.
I wrote a short story today. The first draft anyway. If anyone wants to read it, let me know. Constructive feedback is always welcomed!

Tonight I worked at Cozzi. It was a fun shift, and we did some killer cleaning.
Which reminds me, we have a show there next friday!!!
Afterwards I went out with Karina, Laddy, and Ashleigh. We went to Media Play so Laddy and Ashleigh could get there Harry Potter books. I MET BAT BOY! There was this little kid with bat ears, he kicked ass. Then we went to Steak'N'Shake. I had fun.
Tomorrow I am working at Cozzi from 11 to 4. Then I'm going to the Weezer concert with Laura Saffold. It will be fun!! I haven't seen Laura all summer, I misssed her.
My FINAL shift ever at Coldstone is this Tuesday. You should visit!! |

I worked today, pretty standard.
I rented a movie. "Love! Valour! Compassion!". I haven't finished it yet. I'm not really liking the homosexual Jason Alexander, I feel he's kind of over the top. But I guess I should wait till I finish the movie till I judge.
I'm talking to this cool girl I met on the Facebook. She loves musicals just as much as me! |

| | "You Raise Me Up" by Josh Groban | ] | Wow, tonight was great. It reminded me of the old days.
I knew Nick was working so I went in. Dan had mentioned that we should all hang out after work. So after work Me, Amanda, Dan, Mostafa, and 2.0 went to Steak'N'Shake. It was great. We had a great time. Of course it involved me singing and dancing and being dramatic. My Irish gig got the whole restaurant to applaud, lol. Karina is pretty cool, I always knew she was friends with my sister, but I never really knew her.
Faye was asleep when I got home though, so that was sad.
I'm working 9 to 5 at Cozzi tomorrow. I'm pretty sure Ashley Rose is covering my Coldstone shift from 5 to close. But just incase, I'm prepared to go in.
On the subject of Coldstone, I put in my two weeks today. I, as well as many other, feel that that was majorly overdue. I will miss some of it though. Some of the people, and some of the shifts. And I' sad that I didn't get to work with some of the new people longer. Because SOME of the new people kick ass!
Josh Groban is singing to me right now. He's a pretty cool guy. |

| | "Love is My Legs" from Dirty Rotten Scoundrels | ] | I've lost 15 pounds since school. I've gone from 270 to 255.
Sometimes I REALLY wish I could control the way I feel.
Bah, o wel. It's ok. Because I'm happy. :)
I have to go to the dentist's tomorrow. Then I have rehearsal. I guess only a few people are coming. I'll see how tomorrow looks, if it's shitty weather, and no one is coming, I guess I'll cancel.
I want to direct a dinner theatre next summer. I'll have to look around at some restaurants in the area to see if they are interested. I know of one I'm gonna ask for sure. There are several shows I'm considering to do. If I'm doing a "regular" show, I want to do A Midsummer Night's Dream. I'm also considering The Complete Works of Shakespeare: Abridged. And I'm ordering a copy of 43 Plays for 43 Presidents. So Kennesaw folks, get ready for next summer! I plan on doing the commedia troupe again as well as this show.
I'm looking forward to going back to school. I'm going to be the Assistant Director to Steven Carrol (Senior Secretary for the Department of Theatre) for Vampire Lesbians of Sodom. That is going to be A LOT of fun. And I hope to get cast in a show after that. If I don't get cast at the university, I can always audition for community.
I will miss some people from here though. I think it's going to be harder to leave this year than it was last year.
I need to work on my monologues. Well, I have to find them first.
If anyone wants to do something tomorrow night, let me know! |

Fantastic 4 kicked ass!
Sean Hyatt (Cozzi) and I went to see it tonight.
I liked it a lot, more than X-Men.
"Love is My Legs" from Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is perhaps one of my new favorite songs, lol. |

Tonight's shift was incredible!! I worked with Nick, Mostafa, Paul, and Karina at Coldstone.
I had an idea. We all decided that whoever had the lowest sales at the end of the night had to eat a like it of wasabi ginger. Nick was excluded because he didn't get there till 7.
Well, we kicked ass in sales because we were all UBER motivated to sell. In the end, I lost.
I got 2 spoonfulls down and started gagging. They told me that I could stop.
Then we closed in 30 minutes.
Tonight's shift was amazing. Tonight's crew just kicked ass. |

I worked at Cozzi this morning.
Then Justin called, and I spent the rest of the day with him.
He kicked my ass in the obstacle course, douche.
I FINALLY saw Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. I love Steve Martin. Ruprecht at the dinner table is great, well, I think I just like it because he has an eyepatch and a pitchfork, lol.
I'm doing a catering order tomorrow at Cozzi.
I still want some fireworks. |
